January 30th

So I'm a little late but I was thinking about a fun New Year's resolution. I got a magazine from Barnes and Noble in December that had the 100 best dishes in Charlotte and wanted to try all of them...or at least those that are fully cooked. I may also throw in some other fun dishes, books, etc. that come along. I am by no means a food critic and have a very amateurish palette, so this should be interesting.

Tonight I had to travel to the Matthews hospital to get some supplies, so I stopped in Dean and Deluca. This was my 2nd time to the restaurant I was first introduced to watching Felicity. I got the Angel Hair Flan and Shrimp and Corn Chowder. Yummy!!  The flan was good but had some peppers in it that I could have done without. The shrimp and corn chowder was nice and thick with a little bit of spice - definitely a good choice.
